With small, instructor-led workshops, courses, and retreats, and personalized 1:1 coaching, you’ll have renewed confidence and skills to grow as a UX Researcher.
With a foundation in Applied/Experimental Psychology, Jen is on a mission to train the BEST UX researchers in the world. UXR Matching Program
The UXR Matching program aims to fill a gap - researchers need more experience to get a job, and they cannot get more experience without prior experience. Working with clients is essential, and even after taking classes and getting degrees, many people still need more practical experience.
Businesses get to learn about your users and how you can improve your product(s) - products are usually websites and apps, but surveys, forms, and physical products can be tested too.
Researchers get hands-on training, working with clients on their business problems and conducting real research with and for them. You get to learn first-hand what to do when things do not go as planned and we have to pivot. You get to learn how to handle difficult situations. All students will work closely with Jen Romano, PhD and will be trained/mentored by her. Other coaches may be part of the program as well.
UXR Master Course Intensive Retreat on Big Island, Hawaii
Ready to take your UX Research career to the next level? This intense UX research master course, taking place on Big Island Hawaii, is for people who want to elevate their user experience research skills. Participants will have personalized coaching and small group training conducting usability testing and intercept interviews in the field, analyzing results, and working directly with stakeholders. Attendees will lead research and present to clients, all while getting coached along the way. The diversity of industry experts leading this training ensures unprecedented access to information and coaching that is sure to up-level you, no matter where you are in your UX career.
