Have you ever felt like stakeholders do not understand your role as a researcher? Do they think you only conduct focus groups? Have you ever been told that your sample size in your qualitative research is too small? Do your stakeholders sometimes think they know what to build before they understand your research findings? Have you been asked to drive strategy and you don’t know where to start?
Join us in this 2-hour workshop in which Jen and Rebecca will share tips and tricks from their experiences leading teams and projects at Meta and Google on how to influence strategy and stakeholders. They will share how to best communicate with stakeholders, how to build and foster relationships, how to create the most usable roadmaps, and how combining quantitative and qualitative data can be a powerful method to educate about users, uncover opportunities, and drive strategy.
Attendees will gain knowledge in:
Creating roadmaps
Prioritizing work
Communicating influentially with clients and stakeholders
Combining qualitative and quantitative data to engage and influence stakeholders
Using mixed methods to help stakeholders understand insights
Attendees will come away from this workshop with strategies to help influence UX strategy. Worksheets and/or slides will be shared with attendees.
“So much about great insights is how you socialize them. This sparked so much for me as I work in my little silo in - literally- an unmarked building no one knows about. I have lots to think about!”
“Really powerful learning, as there is no one ‘right’ way to do all this!”
“Looking forward to applying your tips on using broadcasting and slack channels to broaden insights reach.”
